Two die, one injured in rain-triggered landslides in Palpa

PALPA, June 22 | Two dead bodies were recovered from the Sammobari area of Tansen Municipality-11 on Monday evening after four vehicles were hit by rain-triggered landslides on the Palpa-Gulmi road. Health ministry reports highest single-day recovery of 370 Covid-19 patients in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU, June 22 | The Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) on Monday reported the recovery of 370 patients of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Nepal. According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the MoHP, 370 patients of Covid-19 including 32 females and 338 males were discharged after recovery from various hospitals across the nation. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of the precious yellow metal increased by Rs 700 per tola in two days as its price on Friday stood at Rs 89,900. Sindhupalchowk witnesses 18 new cases of COVID-19 including nine Kuwait returnees
